From the Driver's Seat- This year's car show at the Mississippi State Fair is almost here. I hope that everyone has made plans to have their antique vehicles exhibited. The show is building up to be a great event for us. Please plan to attend.
We need more workers this year than ever before since we have doormats and the robot lawnmower to sell tickets on. If you can help please call Pat Clark (825-3344) or me (371-8462) to schedule ome time to help.

If you don't have your vehicle registered, please do so today. Make not of the rule changes this year which include showing proof of liability insurance and having a working fire exstiguisher.

!!ITS'S FAIR SHOW TIME!!


*Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, October 12th-6:30 p.m. Tickets are $13 each and can be purchased at the Antique Vehicle Exhibition. Women are requested to bring door prizes suitable for females.
*Antique Car Mats-- We will be selling beautiful heavy-duty mats designed with antique car artwork for $5 each. These mats are great for doorways, car trunks, wall decorations, ect.
*Robotics Lawn Mower-- You can see a demonstration of the Friendly Robotics Mower that will be given away in a raffle on Oct. 1th at 10 p.m. Tickets are $1 or 6/$5
2003 AVCN Dues-- This will be a great opportunity to pay your 2003 dues of $25.

!!Bob Richardson recently underwent major surgery and is making a complete recovery. He does not have to undergo additional treatments.
!! Marion Bardwell wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and expressions of concern during her recent illness. She is doing well in her recovery at home.
!!Marion Bardwell & Bill Phelps recently celebrated there 80th birthdays. Congratulations to these members who have made outstanding contributions to the club. Have a great year!
!! Bob Goff was recently involved in a major auto accident in which he had a miraculous survival.
