NEXT MEETING

2:00 PM Saturday May 19, 2002

Willard F Bond Home - Madison

From the Driver's Seat- What a great month May is starting to be. The cruise to Louisville was nothing short of "bodacious"!! The Taylor museum is really something to see and we couldn't have had a better host than Mr. Taylor. There's so much happening this month that it's gonna be hard to keep up. Don't forget the Show and Shine on the 11th and the Bond Home on the 19th. I hope that we have as many good cakes this year as last. What a feast!
When you see S.W. Bardwell, ask him about his VW convertible winning Best of Show at the Uniquely Done Car Show in Brandon on April 27th.
I want to thank the members who partcipated in the Metro Center First Annual Festival on May 1st. I thought we did a good job for such a short notice. Hopefully, next year we will have more time to plan.
Oleta an I are going away for a few days to celebrate my retirement. We plan to go to Branson for a few days and then to Mountian View, Arkansas. See you at the Bond Home on the 19th.

Sonny Scott, President

June Eat our- Myrla Jent has arranged our monthly Eat-Out for 6:0 PM June 23rd at Primos Northgate Restaurant on North State St. in Jackson. Come join us for loads of fun and fellowship.

Chaplian John asks that you remember Lloyd and Floyd Braswell. Their Father passed away last month. S.W. Braswell is recovering nicely from his surgery but he isn't lifting any transmissions these days.
