Main Auditorium - Ms. Agricultural Museum - Lakeland Dr.

Celebrating Thirty Years

From the Driver's Seat- Our May Home Place Meeting turned out to be a one of the most pleasurable events of the year. There can be few better ways to Experience joy than giving rides to the residents there. Generally speaking, I believe my Model A Ford has sufficient power. But when John Emory managed to get a somewhat large rider in my rumble seat and anouther resident upfront, I thought somene would have to give us a push. And wore, my tires appeared to be flat. I do believe though that these two passangers have not had this much fun all year and the same was true for me. Thanks to Margie Phelps and Melba Williams for arranging and planning the event and thanks to all our members who brought the ice cream and cakes.

Remember that on June 9 at 2:30 we will be meeting in the main auditorium at the Ag. Museum. We will have an interesting presentation by Bob Jackman and Wayne Simpson on prparing your car for shows. Several members have requested assistance in this area, and you can count on highly productive and useful tips on detailing your car.

Then in July we are planning to attend the World of Show and Go in the Trade Mart building. The promoters of this event have graciously allowed our club a discounted rate of $15.00 for registrations prior to July 5th. I ave applications for those who wish to attend. Members should acknowledge AVCM affiliation to recieve the discount.

Due to our membership growth and meeting attendance, we need volunteers to bring additional refreshments to our meetings. If you can assist, please call Melba at 922-6801.
