Celebrating Thirty One Years

From the Driver's Seat-

Hope everyone enjoyed our last club meeting. I was a little anxious; it being my first meeting as president. But after I got home and had my medication (1 jug of Merlot), I was as good as new.
We're getting off to anouther good year. Our committees are all busy on thier projects and our members are very supportive. Everyone is looking forward to another great year for our club. Pat Clark is working hard (as usual) trying to get our fun trips set up. I sure appreciate the hard work of our officers and Board as well as our committees. Last month's eat-out was really good. We had a good number there. Oleta and I enjoyed the food and the fellowship very much. This is such a great way, I believe, for us to have a night out informally and get to know one another.
Please remember your dues if you haven't paid them. Hope to see you at the February 16th meeting.
Serving you,

Sonny Scott, President

EVENTS TO PLAN FOR

!!AVCM Meeting-February 16th
this will be one of our most important meetings. The committee members who have been developing rules for the "Mississippi State Fair Antique Vehicle Exhibition" will present their recommendations for the discussion and vote. A draft was included in this months physical newsletter. Additionally, the agricultural Museum has advised us that we are not to park in the area around the Masonic Hall because of safety concerns relating to children being in the area. We can park our antique cars in the lot in front of the main building or in the lot around to the right.
!!Eat-Out-February 23rd---6:00P.M.
This month's eat-out will be at the Wellington located in the Hilton Hotel on County Line Road. We will have the option of ordering from the "early Bird" menu. Sign the sheet at the next meeting or call Myrla Jent (957-6990) if you plan to attend.
!!Ferrari Club Vicksburg Event-March 24th
Pat Clark has arranged for club members to visit Bill Taylor's two museums, which contain fire trucks and equipment, trains, and antique autos. Lunch is planned at Lake Tiah-o-khala. More information will be available closer to the date.
