From the Driver's Seat- Another year is comming to a close and what a wonderful year it has been. We have had lots of fun things to share and so many good friends to share with!! I will always be grateful for the trust you placed in me as your president and to the officers, board members who have made this year so successful. I salute each of you!! I look forward to sharing the Holiday Season with you December 7th at our Christmas Party. It's that wonderful time of the year again when we can all get together to celebrate the holiday season.. We have a surprise planned for the entertainment this year. The party will be at 6:30 at the Ag Museum, Ethnic Building. Bill Phelps has graciously agreed to prepare the ham and turky for us. He is so kind to do this each year. The dinner will be covered dish. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE KNOW AHEAD OF TIME THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ATTENDING SO WE CAN PURCHASE THE MEAT. Please call Myrla Jent at 601-957-6990 or Theresa Winters at 601-857-8818 by Wednesday, december 4, and let them know the dish you are bringing and the number of people from your family who will be attending. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: You must park in the lot by the sports museum. You can pull up in front of the ethnic building to let passengers out or to bring in any food you have prepared, but the driver must then move the car. The only exception is for handicapped parking. AVCM members have participated in this parade with their cars over the past few years. We need your help again this year.
